Apologies young Piglet......Correction made (although curling should really be written as crawling). But come off it, everyone expects someone of your standard to score in every game anyway  Sorry, hold that thought, that would be me..

Date: 22/04/2008
Comments: So it was 4-0 and goal scores were perry (2) and o'donnell?? dont suppose you remember my fine curling effort in to the bottom corner then !!

Well, firstly, you did run away from the incident looking guilty. Secondly, being the newest member of the team automatically means that you become the butt of all jokes and all round scapegoat etc....it's practically written in stone!

Date: 10/04/2008
Comments: Will. I would love to say, "brilliant website, enjoy reading it every week" blah blah. But all that I ever read is Lee Wallis accidently scores, Lee Wallis wears sequined lycra or i think  Lee meant to cross that? And to top it all off i see this week its  Lee who conceded the penalty !!! I WAS NOWHERE NEAR THE PENALTY INCIDENT AT ALL !!! Please for next season Will, find yourself a new "if I dont who it was then I'ill blame him" person.

I don't know how to deal with compliments. I can handle critisism, but this is new to me......

Comments: what the hell is Jordy up to???? Completely agree that we deserved to win the final match, can't believe we managed to lose, we'll be up for the title next year easy!!
I must pass on my appreciation to William for this superb website, thoroughly enjoyed reading the weekly updates even if the results haven't always been favourable, looking forward to next season already!! Cheers Mr stevens

Sometimes retirement sounds like a good option, although only when it's raining and I'm putting the nets up (which is no mean feat when you're 5'6")!

Date: 11/03/2008
Comments: Nice site mate, looking good, played one match this season and you refer to my bus pass!! Yeah I have got it, a few of you will need it soon - retire while you are ahead!!!

Comments: Thanks for the report guys. Palace Court are a credit to the league. If Bishops win promotion we'll miss playing the Court. Whoops forgot we will have to take on your big guns. HELP. Yes we do run out of steam in the second half of games. need to work on that. Glad the team enjoyed the food. Must have a preseason. Best of luck to you all. Take care of jordan and sam for me. Good lads.

Comments: Liking the Kings Arms write up!
The Ref certainly did have a shocking game how guyers penalty claim was not given is beyond us all and as for Chinny's 50-50 the player was a joke, loved the way Samuel sat there pulling his socks up completely oblivious to it!!
Another good report perhaps William should think about becoming a satirical news reporter!

I am presuming you know about these programmes because you watch them and as for the lycra comment I am guessing this is what you get up to when I go out?!

Comments: Great web site! I used to play for Palace Court in 1992 I think and have fond memories of the club. I only stayed there for a year as I was working in Sherborne School for a year as a French assistant. The matches were the highlight of my week-ends. Since then, I have qualified as a foreign languages teacher and worked on four continents. I am currently working in Bilbao in Spain. I would like to thank all the people at the club at the time, especially Tim and Kerry. Great to see that the club has developped well.
Come on Palace!

Comments: Lets be honest was I ever going to miss?? No. I wasnt going to give you the satisfaction of writing a dreadful paragraph on here !! And no-one can steal that goal, not even Dunc can come up with a crazy story to claim it !! Lee for regular penalty taker maybe??  But to be fair another highly amusing report there Will. Anfield if I remember rightly from my youth, was full of poofs in red, dancing around with no purpose in life at all?? or was that the redcoats at butlins......?? who could tell !! Bishops turn on the 'coaster next week !!

well done again William another well written report, with surprisingly no expletives considering the appalling decisions made!!

I'm not at liberty to comment on the goals as I wasn't there, but as for only playing with half a pair of boots? What's the problem? Rumour has it you only have one foot anyway.....

Comments: No no no !!! that first goal is mine !! a sweet little chip over the keeper (well a dodgy toe punt!!) rolled over the line jus before dunc got his goal stealing boots on it !! My first palace hat-trick definitely !! I was only wearing half a pair of boots aswell !!

Comments: Hello. My first look at our club web-site and you have done a top job Will.It was good to come back to training after a 2 month lay off, through an ageing body. now all i need is the chance to prove to everyone and myself that i can get back to playing regular football and doing what i enjoy the best. Smashing the ball into the back of the net.( Before kick off, in the warm ups, love it ).To all the boys who know me most, and the new lads. hope i can come back and make a difference. Also need to get some games under my belt. All i need now is a nice nickname to match the rest of you and hopefully will can do me proud with a good look back to my prime for a profile.

Whilst we're on the subject of over exaggeration, perhaps it should be noted that from the pitchside view i could swear that a certain Mr Stevens shot was a very mis-hit cross!!
Good finishes on sunday lads now lets get some more in the cup.

Comments: Wow, Adam Guy a synchronised swimmer?? you learn something new everyday!! Another good performance by palace, backed up with another cracking match report from Will. Lets just hope theres someone else who can keep up your great work on the website, because after reading your first two player profiles i think your suggestion of a possible lynching may become a reality in the eyes of some !!

With reference to the comment below, the match-report will be adjusted (this will only happen if it is a factual error, not just an opinion, such as four assists, to be laughed at!). It was either a lack of concentration on my part or Sir Dawe was moving around so quickly that he was impossible to spot!? Take your pick.........

Comments: Will, it's bad enough for an old man like me not to get many games as it is without you saying that I was substituted at half time at Bakers Arms. To put the record straight, Rob Hoskins came on for young Luke Wallis and I should point out that I could claim 'assists' for four of our five goals (albeit that I may have only touched the ball some five minutes previous to us scoring !!)
By the way, the website is brilliant - keep up the good work.
Good luck to the lads in their games against George Hotel, Dextra Lightning and Hazelbury Bryan while I'm away on my scouting mission to Italy (honest !!)

Comments: Another superb match report Stout Yeoman Sir Stevens of Calewayshire.
It was a strange match from my midfield point of view. I felt as if I'd wandered into Narnia so wide were the open spaces in the centre. I am destined to never score this season and maybe need some pointers off Sir Hammond of Sydenhamshire.
Keep the volume knob turned up to eleven when you bust out those Whitesnake albums mate.

Comments: well my so called "petty bribery" seems to have done the trick seeing as my name was not mentioned for the shambles that was bakers 2nd goal !!! Why i didnt put it out god only knows !! Other than that comical moment i thought it was a fairly good performance from everyone !! although i would like to note my my header didnt go over as stated by mr stevens, it was brilliantly tipped out of the top corner by bakers keeper!!!(ok i exaggerate slightly!!) but i was fairly pleased to win a header being the smallest man on the pitch !!!

Comments: good work with the website mister will,
I am in agreement with pretty much all you said regarding the first two league games. Terrible lack of concentration by mr w. stevens for one of Athletico's goals in the first half. Good work from sir wallace, even pulling off a bergkamp turn in the centre of the park in the latter stages. Good standard of finishing for all goals considering we don't get a lot of practise in finishing really, even big dunc's 'carew' header was well finished!
Thank the good lord for sir perry of marnhullshire for such a wirey and energetic start to the season.
Over and out

Comments: think Will is being very diplomatic in not mentioning the disgusting attempt at tackles that Atletico Shaftesbury made, this included a blatant elbow and a shockingly late and deliberate take out that resulted in Kosh visiting Yeovil hospital.
All unnecessary and not what people want in a sunday morning kickabout.
on the positive 3 of our finishes were very well taken and good to see a couple of the new lads finishing so confidently.
