Lee Wallis - Fleet-Footed Midfielder

Fred Astaire turned and walked away, Ginger Rogers became a librarian and MC Hammer just sat down and wept. Why? Great dancers they may be, but they have nothing on Lee ‘Lambada’ Wallis.
Although frozen from the waist up (as his sense of humour proves), his feet of fire are nothing but a blur to any on-coming defenders. Like a young Michael Flatley, Lee can Riverdance around opponents as if they were standing still. His Beardsley-esque movement in and around the box make him a constant threat to any defender, who is pretty much given the choice of looking stupid or fouling him. Quite often both!
As both youngster and new-comer to the team Lee has had to learn a lot in a very short space of time. He does this by reading the Almanac that is ‘How to be a Pub footballer’ in the evenings. Lee has so far mastered how to be late, how to take and return abuse and how to arrive and play as if you’ve just woken up. He has yet to progress to belching in tune and giving lewd reports on his previous nights activities, but he is young and has time on his side!
Lee would like people to think that he is your typical ‘out on the raz’, ‘propping up the bar’ man about town. But Lee, please. There is no need to be embarrassed about your Saturday Night activities. I am sure other ‘tricky’ footballers sit in front of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in red, sequined lycra……….
