Mark Cook - Raging Bull

As an ex communist enforcer, Mark found it easy to fit into the centre of defence at Palace Court, a position in which he could cause as much pain and suffering to the opposition as possible (fairly, of course). Although he is not known for his pace (boy is that true!) he has the ability to always be in the right place at the right time. This is generally sliding-in under smart-ass little wingers who have the notion that they can get round this half-man, half-ox coming towards them. More often than not the only notion they end up with is ‘why have I stopped running’,’ should my head be on the grass?’ or ‘should my mouth be full of mud?’. Although Mark has a rugged and rough exterior, he feels that he should be known not only for his brawn, but also for his brains. He does his best to demonstrate his full intellectual powers at local pub-quizzes, but unfortunately this does little to help his cause (Tagliatelle is a type of pasta Mark, not an Italian centre-forward)!!! Man mountain though he is, Mark is a gentle giant off the pitch and likes nothing more than being surrounded by gods small creatures….luckily, as of yet, no complaints have been filed!  If you are reading this Mark, I didn’t write it, someone else did (I think it was Pete Clarke). Please don’t hurt me. Arghhhhhhhh…………………………
