Nick Grimes - Midfield Marvel

After rejection early in his life (when Simon Cowell had him removed from the pop-idol auditions because of his poor rendition of Sinita’s ‘So Macho’) Nick turned to football where he now roams the touchline in his right midfield position. This position not only allows him to burst into the box using both his skill and pace to full effect, but also gets him close enough to the spectators so he can give any lucky females watching a glint of his cheesy, boy-band smile. What a guy……sigh. As a youngster Nick idolised many of the new breed of young and fashionable footballers and has styled himself accordingly.  So ladies, it’s taken almost 20 years of hard practise but be prepared for Nicks version of the ‘Sharpy-Shuffle’ nest time he scores! Joking aside Nick is an invaluable member of the team, as not only does he possess strength and speed on the ball, but he has the ability to play in any position. So, if you need a break during your 90 minutes, Nick's the man to see! Nick is also is a regular on the score sheet, but it will be apparent that for someone with his height and power, none of his goals are with his head.Is this because he is never in the right place at the right time, he scared of the ball or because the ball may damage his precious, sculpted locks? The choice is yours, but I know which one I’d go for…….
